So read through most of the posts in this thread, what is this crystal web everyone is talking about?
New ISP, backed by mybroadband member DJ...
Which promises to be spectacular!
Ok so what do I do now to get connected? Or is it wait till 1st June?
Brilliant. I googled Crystal web can't seem to find a website. Link?

Our website is still in development and will be until our official launch. For now the point of contact is through [email protected]
And another mybroadband member Paul Hjul, as well as one other director and two other shareholders...
Yeah, according to the ticket system, Paul is actually handling my application![]()
And hopefully you won't run into the same problem as Afrihost where they grew too fast for their capacity. That's the perfect example of an ISP's rise & fall. Congrats on the new ventureBy the way, this is the process we are adopting moving forward. If we haven't been agile enough to scale up quickly enough to match demand, we will limit signups even after launch. As a rule in this business I refuse to sacrifice support quality for an extra buck here and there. I firmly believe that the longevity of this business will be tied into the quality of support we provide...
The sales team should be sorting you out - if not let me know. I'd really suggest 1 June activation as my accounting system will bill you for the full month if you activate now, then it's a process of passing credit notes and so on which can become problematic, so as a rule, for now, we're not introducing pro-rata until we're sure that all automation on our back end is ready for it.
At least it's a short wait...![]()
I'll keep a spot for you for when you're ready. I saw your issue the other day with the cancellation and wanted to have a few choice words about it but decided against it. It really shouldn't have happened...

Great stuff. I have the awesome team behind TelkomZA helping out now, so hopefully my body will be ready by June 1.
I have received pricing from the sales team at Crystal Web and it is very reasonable.
Now I have sent in my moving line form to mweb waiting on them to move my line back to Telkom and cancel my account with them. My only concern is that I will have to wait until 1st July to get my Crystal account then?
