Shopping for a new ISP

Ok so what do I do now to get connected? Or is it wait till 1st June?

The sales team should be sorting you out - if not let me know. I'd really suggest 1 June activation as my accounting system will bill you for the full month if you activate now, then it's a process of passing credit notes and so on which can become problematic, so as a rule, for now, we're not introducing pro-rata until we're sure that all automation on our back end is ready for it.

At least it's a short wait...:)

By the way, this is the process we are adopting moving forward. If we haven't been agile enough to scale up quickly enough to match demand, we will limit signups even after launch. As a rule in this business I refuse to sacrifice support quality for an extra buck here and there. I firmly believe that the longevity of this business will be tied into the quality of support we provide...
And hopefully you won't run into the same problem as Afrihost where they grew too fast for their capacity. That's the perfect example of an ISP's rise & fall. Congrats on the new venture

Man, it's like my birthday is on 1 June, I know what Im getting, but cant open the present yet LOL. Will wait patiently.

I'll keep a spot for you for when you're ready. I saw your issue the other day with the cancellation and wanted to have a few choice words about it but decided against it. It really shouldn't have happened...

Great stuff. I have the awesome team behind TelkomZA helping out now, so hopefully my body will be ready by June 1.

I have received pricing from the sales team at Crystal Web and it is very reasonable.

Now I have sent in my moving line form to mweb waiting on them to move my line back to Telkom and cancel my account with them. My only concern is that I will have to wait until 1st July to get my Crystal account then?

Those are the exact issues that were front-of-mind when I put together the 1st business plan and nothing has changed other than investing even more in staff...

Look, we don't want your body, copa. It's a kind offer, but just your business will do for now...:D

You can move to us beforehand - just downgrade your MWEB to a 1GB capped account and send in your cancellation. You don't need to wait for your line to be transferred. If you're opting to move your line to us, which makes sense considering our 24 hour support and direct line info and diagnostics, then we will only charge you the lesser of the two costs (between bundled and unbundled) until the month that your line is migrated to us...

@DJ... - will you guys also support fiber? Because copper may get the boot in the end....
