What about seeing a counsellor? You have a right to see a counsellor, isn't there a possibility you can patch it up?

I am really sorry to hear it, but hopefully you can both get out without too much emotional baggage if it is handled professionally and fairly - hard I know when emotions are involved.
When it's time to move on you just gotta cut your losses and move... You both still have your whole lives still to live. What's a bit of money anyhow when you can earn more and perhaps have more joy cross your paths hey?
It is really hard now I know, but in a year or two you will be cruising. So suck it up and look ahead - that's what I would do.
This is the kind of bull**** that makes many guys NOT want to get married. I know I'm already convinced I'm better off not married. **** that. Makes me ****ing sick.
well the first thing that you have to do, is to go to your boss, if you have one, and make sure he fires you! but only for a month of two! this means that when you get divorced, she cant ask for a monthly income because you dont have one!
get a few contracts with friends or attorney stating that you owe them money! the date has to be changed to 10 years ago. 5 or more contracts worth 200k each. all cash amounts that have to be paid off! get a attorney friend to sign the docs and give him a case of beer. transfer cash to their bank accounts. okay.
have your pension paid out and have a few buddies to take it out of the country! rule of thumb, 500k per person per year to Australia for holiday money. or some other country!
need more ideas ?
+1
NoLimit sorry to hear that it's come to divorce. Glad to hear that kids aren't involved though. When my parents got divorced my mum went for everything my dad had. It destroyed him and he never recovered from it. I hope you pull through and find new joy in your life. (p.s. - the pension thing?? they can take that tooMother....er
!!)
Maybe she meets another lowlife dude that bleeds her dry, happens a lot.
Bloody hell... this is the one reason I don't want to get married :/
There's a chance his ex wont want to have kids with him at this juncture. What if you spend all the money before she gets a chance to grab it? Or can't you transfer a large part of it into a trust fund for your kids which will mature once theyre 21 or something?
Are you kidding - my ex ran back to an ex of hers who subsequently dumped her and on top of that she gained 15kg - I really didn't mind.I think that would make hime feel alot better. Although its someone that you once cared for, I'm sure you wouldn't really want that . . . but still, when they get so arrogant . . .![]()
No children. Grounds - 'irreconciliable differences'. We have fixed property and 'in-community'.
I could burn some but not a huge amount.
