Should you get the iPhone 4S next week?

Think it's the screen res of the Nexus causing problems at the moment.

Also read that there's already a new update for the American Nexus phones.

@Jannie Well, needless to say, if you got a prerelease version, it's just a matter of time before it becomes available on the Vodacom network....no launch dates yet? :)

No, not yet. Sometime early next year.

What the issue with the Nexus' screen resolution?

Sorry, not an issue, but some older apps were not designed for the 1280 X 720 screen res.

That is good news! I expect the Nexus to sell very well.

Will wait for iphone 10.23 maybe South Africa are with it by then

Watched the Engadget show and they said that the yields on the iPhone 5 were simply too high & because Apple was out of time, they simply reworked the iPhone 4 to be able to launch a "new" iPhone.

My best guess is there will be an iPhone 5 early June next year.

The more important question here is will you be getting one, seeing as you are a droid convert...?

Never say never again. ;)

If it's a game changer, I'm always keen, but it will have to be something without iTunes and very special to let me put the Galaxy S2 down.

Definitely my vote for phone of the year.

You'll be hard pressed to easily distinguish between the 4 and 4S. I constantly pick up the wrong one and have to look if Siri is installed to make sure which one is which.
