Probably the single best quality of life feature that has been around for ages that I only recently discovered.

Begone all spammers to black hole purgatory.

I cannot adequately express how much this feature has reduced my irritation level in the past few months.

The only issue, is now some calls I expect also get silenced.
E.g standard bank's anti fraud robo calls..

Is Truecaller not available on Apple?
Not quite the same but it amazes me that people who install TrueCalller have no issue with handing over their private information and all their friends, colleagues and family's phone contacts names, phone numbers, email addresses etc for the sake of knowing who's calling...

Till one day a loved one has an emergency and an unknown stranger from his unknown phone call you for help and you ignore the call
They can leave a voicemail which will be where they're sent. Iphones have a wonderful transcribe functionality that shows you what message they're leaving as they're leaving it or can be reviewed without even listening to the voicemail. I'm sure they'll add some functionality to review the text of the voicemail and alert you in the case of an actual emergency.

If you truly care about privacy you wouldn't have a smartphone to begin with.

Necessary for modern life but that still doesn't detract from those who know me handing over my personal information to a third party for their own convenience...

For the sake of blocking known spammers.

Bro Google,Apple, etc already have those information. If you don't want anyone to have your information just stick with a Nokia 3310.

I've never understood this argument. If a loved one has an emergency then they should be calling the emergency services, not wasting their precious time phoning me from an unknown number. I'm not a paramedic, an ER doctor or a fire fighter. There is literally nothing I can do to help. If you want to let me know after the fact and you're calling from an unknown number then leave a voicemail or send me an sms or even a whatsapp.
