You can set up gmail on you pc and use their pop/smtp settings.

*sigh* It's 7.40am 4 September and we have the same issue. Guess one does need a backup mail/connection with 3G.

I am not getting smtp errors but there seems to be a long delay in Vodacom smtp forwarding the mail Is this also a problem with VC's smtp. ?????
I have sent emails hours ago and they still havent arrived at the recipient.

I gave up on trying to send e-mails as I was losing business.

I use a technology some of you might be familiar with. It is called a FAX MACHINE. You print the thing you want to mail, feed it into the FAX MACHINE and it appears on the other side almost immediately!!

The nice thing about this technology, you know it has been received!!!

VC's smtp server accepts the email, and then after about 2 hours you'll receive a non-delivery report.
