I used to run Windows 7 Prof that was pre installed.
Dumb*** that I am, I opted to upgrade to Windows 8 Home Evaluation Build 8250 - and was NOT impressed. No option was given for me to go back to Windows 7.

Which Windows 8 Upgrade package should i get to make it a full version of Windows 8?
What price range are we talking here?

Please help - there is so much Jargon with this software- I am totally lost in translation!:confused::confused:

The "Evaluation" version is a beta, not the finished product.

You can upgrade from Windows 7 to 8 Pro for R300. There was also limited offer (which seems to have passed now), for $15 or around R130 which many of us got.

It will download the Upgrade Assistant, a tool that will help you buy the full Windows 8 Pro. Which jargon specifically is the problem?

Thank you for the advice!
Will let you know about the jargon.... thansk! YOU ROCK!
