I agree, everything has been working GREAT until today (Tuesday) where I can hardly access ANY international site... this is certainly not a "capped" issue as I've been capped all this time and it's been great. There's definately something wrong on Telkom's side or they've just downgraded their capped international bandwidth in response to us saying that it was starting to become acceptable.

22.5kbps

After being able to watch videos at 300kbps without stutter for
50 minutes this morning, and then coming back and having this
horrible bandwith is really not on.
I'm about 500Mb from my cap as well, after all the talk of the
bad line after cap, I decided to rather pace myself.

Sunday 28th September, 8:00pm.

Almost everything is inacessible. 2 KB images download as long as a minute.

I'm supposing everyone's downloading like mad, to make use of their last bit of uncapped bandwidth.

It's crazy that Telkom's limiting has now conjured up so many interesting social behaviours.

Essentially ADSL is usable half the month. The first few days of the month, everyone whores it until their cap runs out, leaving the conscientious users with about 15 days. Then the last few days of the month, those that haven't reached their cap yet, whore it once again, to make sure they get their 3G used up.

Bah!

The web has been practically impossible to use today - no mail, http, ftp access at all - so much for the cap helping to give us users a better product -

your speed is

49.82 kbits/sec

and I'm not capped

I guess I should surf at 1 AM perhaps I should change my business hours so that I can get some decent work done in the evening instead of the day

Hi guys

I am still struggling with poor speeds. Is this also the case with you? I just measured a speed of 63.98 kbits/sec (10:17 on Tuesday 30 September), and I think this was actually good in comparison to what I experience.
