What would be the point? He sang it at that rally and it was all over the news that he sang it at 2 others. Google is your friend...

Are you denying he sang it at a rally? Following him was Peggy Mokonyane (Gauteng premier) singing it at one of her rallies when things got a bit tight for her in the elections, and now the ANC legally contesting the ban on singing it in court. Hardly keeping it to a "folk song" type performance! More like trying to incite people into hatred so that they support them. That's why it was banned! It's hate speech intended to incite violence and bad feeling toward white people.

yep, sad though that one have to wonder how long this "struggle" need to continue before it's set into real action to uplift those who keep them in power.

Do you think she would have thought of that if the song hadn't recieved such excellent coverage? Btw, struggling to find anything other than some poor scan on a site about Afrikaaner's struggle against the ANC oppression.

Very sad but it will take as long as it takes for those that keep them in power to either get educated (as in tunisia, egypt) or to start starving to death. Even that is not a given if you look at Zim, except in our case after SA where do they go? The rest of africa is a mess.

Maybe starvation and poor service delivery will eventually spur them into action with no alternative. Hopefully it's still while our police and army are in disarray and they protesters can actually achieve something. Even if it's just to wake the ANC up and force them to deliver on all their promises.

Thats not the point! The point is their motive for singing it. What are they hoping to achieve amongst the people that are attending the rallies? They are trying to devide and rule, true dictator style. Pure and simple!

Also, here is the lyrics for de la Rey. I am not a fan of the song...but no where can I see anything about shooting Engelsmanne. It is a song about the suffering of the Boer war, Afrikaans woman and kids dying in concentration camps etc etc. I personally do not see a call to arms in this song. Many Afrikaans people listen to this song...and not because they want a war or to kill Engelsmanne....but because it is a part of our history. Kill The Boer is nothing but incitement...full stop.

If this song was sung 112 years ago then it would have been classified as a struggle song.

Anyway the issue is that there are thousands of "Boers" being butchered every year. This song is inspiring these animals to attack these farmers whether you want to admit it or not.
But maybe, just maybe, Malema and the people who support him want the Boers / farmers to be wiped out.

What about the tens of thousands of "blacks" that are murdered each year? Really if you are going to dodge my questions then rather don't quote them.
