Now i should just have said give it to me, but im not like that as i know its not the correct price anyway. But i now regret not demanding it at that price.

this Takealot/Kalahari merger is already starting to feel crappy. Rant over lol :D

Yup, they seem to be changing their prices every minute, it is frustrating to say the least. See something I like at a reasonable rate, get up to fetch CC, come back it is R200 more, making it a R100 more than in store prices. FUFUFU! *rage quit site*

They have become the Multichoice of online retail, bought up all the competition and can now sit back and screw their customers.

to be honest, its bull****. and you are right, the fact that Takealot have merged with Kalahari means that, Takealot will now sing lots of power in front of consumers.

its darn annoying, esp as im sitting here waiting to order since 10:30am. meaning now that if they eventually decide on the correct price, that i will probably only get my order on Thursday when i could have received it tomorrow.

it will now probably also be, sorry we apologise for the inconvenience, place your order and thats it. No going the extra mile to try and make up for this stupid mess. Pretty angry right now
 
Ordered an in-stock booster seat for my kid yesterday. Went to ABSA to deposit the cash for the order. They processed the payment and said delivery would happen tomorrow (22/01).

This morning I get an email saying no stock, do I want credit or a refund? WTF? Not the first time their silly website has enabled a sale while there is no stock in the warehouse or with suppliers. Irritates me because I drove to an ABSA to pay PLUS stood in a damn queue (I have my reasons for wanting to pay cash).

i have to say when i ordered a book for my SO, it went great, service was great and quick delivery. However, this has turned out the opposite for me, and i cannot believe what im witnessing tbh.

on a seperate note, do people still get these TakeAlot vouchers, and if possible have a spare one? :-) How does one get these vouchers, is it given when you spend x amount of money etc???
 
Vouchers are nice but I don't need them to buy from Takealot. Despite their crappy search function I've had a generally good experience buying from them since the Take2 days.

I stopped using them shortly after they merged with Kalahari. They are getting close to Wantitall with their pricing. Will rather spend more time on Amazon to find a supplier that ships to SA. I used to spend a lot of money at Take2 and some at Takealot.
 
Bought something the other day, delivered this morning with a R100 off R250 Superballist voucher included...I miss the TaL vouchers...
 
What is this thread about? Anyone want a voucher? I have one if anyone is interested. I won't be using it.

Give Loot a try. Their prices are fair and since Takeahari's product range has drastically decreased they are almost on par.
Their service is really great. They care about their customers (or at least pretend to, which is good enough for me)

Sorry. I went through a couple of pages in this thread and could not figure out if people were offering vouchers or what this was about. Will check with you first the next time I get one.:D
 
Jeepers you guys whine a lot.

Just shop around, omg. It's no different than comparing prices when you shop at physical stores. I've seen prices on Loot that are more expensive than takealot. For e.g. right now Xbox One headset and Xbox 360 controller.

Quite complaining and just do your research.
