Telkom Call Centre: Oy vey!

I placed a web order for a mobile phone on 27 June 2016. The message I received on the form was the following: "To confirm and finalise the details of your order, a Telkom agent will be in touch. So be on the lookout for our call. If you would like to follow up on the status of your online enquiry please call 10213 and enter the code 4562. You will be directly routed to one of our friendly Telkom agents."

Ha-double-ha.

On Monday 4 July I attempted to follow up. Phoned 10213 at 10:50. That ice-cream cart tune of theirs played solidly for FOUR hours (interspersed with some annoying messages) until at last I spoke to *mumble-mumble* at 14:45 when *mumble-mumble* promised that Zula (?!?) would contact me forthwith to finalise the order. Didn't happen.

This is beyond ridiculous.
