My lines were recently cut, not once, but three times, and even though each time Telkom were on the ball to have the lines repaired, the phone calls to report the faults were a friggen nightmare.
The wait to report the ADSL down was 1hour 12 minutes!!
The standard Telkom lines took about 15 minutes...
oh yes, the calls are answered in 20 seconds or less - by your damn automated system, not by a consultant..I wonder if that is what they mean?
what crap I called 10215 the other day and was on hold for an hour and eventually gave up.This is not the first time its been going on for last year at least its very rare your call gets answered in under half n hour and the retards working there could even boot up a pc let alone give support.I have had to explain to them that the 3gb account has a 30 gb local as they "support" guy said it was only banks etc like it used to be.Heaven help you if they find out you not using one of the telkom supplied routers as then they hit a brick wall.Personally I love calling them and get spoken to like I am a child and then they cant help you anyway!I also have had a crackling on my line for last 6 motnhs and when I report it they say its my handset which it isnt and then they say they can send someone out to check it but it will cost me.Please they call themselves a service provider, they cant even spell service!
Only 80%? I'd think that close to 100% of the calls are answered within 20 seconds. Trouble is that it is a machine that answers and you get put into another queue. The call has been answered.
Now, if they claim that a human speaks to you within 20 seconds they are liars.
"Answered within 20 seconds"
I think they are referring to the switchboard answering the call and not the actual operator that one waits for in the queue.
yea telkom, carry on! Stay in your dream world of GREAT support - Reality here is, I'm waiting for that Ethernet Neorouter and I will no longer pay you a cent! Bhaah!
