They removed the fup. 4mb is fine for netflixso is there any catch on this
parents have a line at they home which they pay around +-R200 a month for calls only
if we add this is it going to be the 199pm and then 349 pm for 4mb uncapped
any FUP on the cap ?
is 4mb good enough for netflix and stuff ?
the sales person i spoked to said i would need to cancel my telephone line and then apply for the DSL lite package.Phoned Telkom Sales yesterday and they were adamant that I can't change to the DSL Lite package stating that I currently have a telephone and that it would be impossible to remove it. Upon asking when it will be possible, they said they don't know. Pretty bad quality call tbh, was unable to hear half the stuff being said, gonna try again later. Also they said the DSL Lite is for new customers only? Am I missing something.

resetting/recreat port will solve this. Can someone help me please. I mentioned that I had received the upgrade from my old 10mb uncapped package to my new 20mb one. My line is syncing at 20mbs now but I'm still using my old 10mb account for internet access. Hence I'm not getting download speeds at 20mb like I should be. Was I supposed to get new ADSL login details for the upgrade or ? It can't be that my line doesn't support it because I've tried my Afrihost account where I have capped data and it gives me the full 20mb download speed. My line upgrade came through yesterday. Should I just wait till Monday to see if they send me new login details or is there a number I can call to query this ? And could it also be that the upgrade hasn't been fully processed hence the speed upgrade only and no new access details ?
Please help, thank you in advance.
