Telkom hikes prices

Telkom can go stick it where the sun don't shine.
 
International Costs Down?

I see the Line Rental and Installation charges have gone up by 11%. I don't know what weird maths makes the "basket" end up at 2,4% increase since everyone with a phone line will pay 11% more monthly, but anyway.

I see they are cutting the cost of international data over the submarine cable by 25%. Is this why other ISPs have been able to drop their charges recently, because they knew the cut was coming?

The data part of the basket, the non-consumer part - apparently dropped significantly.

It also happens to be the area where neotel is the most active - business data.
 
They will regret this one day. The biggest bunch of ****s run that company.

Does this mean we might see price drops from the SAIX ADSL ISPs?
 
Last month I cancelled my Telkom line and my ADSL line. Just can't afford it because of the high costs of everything else. I get a nice cellphone and free minutes and it is mobile for slightly more than just the line rental of a Telkom line...

Unfortunately I know that cancelling your Telkom line is not really an option for businesses and other home users. Where is Neotel? Where are they? Come on!

For some reason i am laughing tears here,just think of ll the cursing and still ppl will just accept it.
Why dont the whole country as consumers have a petition to government.i mean eskom got away with it with there 13%,now if we all just refused to pay the greater nation what can they do but drop the price:p

Now why don't I feel 'glad' when Telkom is obviously going to such great lengths to be accommodating to me? I must be the most ungrateful patron on the planet. Oh. Wait. I almost forgot. ****.

Yeah at work couple months back the adsl worked fine but the fax line was down. Apparently ADSL on needs one connection to work while a voice line needs 2.

Bad news about the price increase. Telkom is just doing it again - the majority pay more for the decrease in price for the minority - then they try to spin it and say that it is inflation beating and is only 2.4% overall.

With the increase in the line rental and call costs the average Joe will see an effective increase in their telephone bill in excess of 10%.

Try and look up WHO the Telkoom shareholders are -- and WHO is on the board of directors.

Maybe this is like "PetroGate" and the money is all going to "CHARTER HOUSE" the Gov -- in business for the ANC :D:mad:

Closer 3,4,5 free minutes increase to 1300 per month... need to figure out a way of selling these.
 
THESE RAT BASTARDS! I cant afford to even feed my self by the end of the month and now I have to pay these ****3rs even more. Bastards!!!!! I hate these frakkers SCREAM!
