Yes should be the 10.0.0.2 address, look for "rate" and "attenuation".

The test this morning looks right... maybe do a few tests with everything else disconnected as there maybe connections from the other machines...

//uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20...ploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2017...1b82351311.jpg these are the options I have. Where do I find the "rate and attenuation"

Look under System Monitor - Network Status or xDSL Statistics.

it's goes back and forth between 230 and 100 while downloading

Assuming that's a torrent

Can't use this as concrete test as it depends on a bunch of factors... such as your pc, the priority and throttling of the P2P protocol on the network (usually none) but mostly torrent speeds are subject to change due the nature of the system... more than 1 host etc....

The speed tests look good, near or above 2mbps. Only maybe your ping could be lower but that could due to the servers etc. I'd say the account looks solid.

For each 1Mbps of line speed I usually get 0.12MB/s (110-120KB/s) or so of transfer speed...

I am downloading adm now. And the above was not a torrent its a direct download of a mp4 file via uc browser on my mobile phone
Your line seems fine to me , don't stress!
The speed test app is never consistent on android , even the download manager! Adm on android will help stabilise download speeds. Well if not , it's the server that's probably slow or traffic.
Get idm on your pc , you'll get the maximum usage of your line when downloading.

BTW good taste in TV series , VIKINGS IS MY FAVOURITE !

Using normal Web browsers or even a game download manager i usually get around 400Kb-450Kb, using idm i easy it 500Kb plus on a 4mb line.

Now I'm really mad - as a long standing 10Mbps uncapped user I'm rewarded by being charged R389/mth more than the "bundle" price
Problem solved, I've moved to 100GB Softcap and downgraded to the standard Anytime Call Plan from the "Plus" to achieve the same level of savings.

With my other ISP accounts I now have a total of 300GB capped data available during business/peak hours and virtually unlimited "free" time data. Another bonus is that TI will move my integrated data sim to the softcap account which means I can use all 100GB on it if required as opposed to the 5GB limit on 10Mbps uncapped.

Listening to that gawd awful "hold" music on 10213 was arduous but the lass who finally assisted me was pleasant and seemed to know what she was doing, I'll only know for sure at the end of the month - fingers crossed :)

Did they give you an answer as to why you were being charger extra compared to new customers on your uncapped adsl?

No, it's not that existing 10Mbps uncapped users are being charged more but that they don't qualify for the "DSL 10mbps promo" discount.

How long the discount will be applied to new clients that opt for month to month payments instead of 24mth contract is unknown.

Whoa , so I'm a 4mb line month to month subcriber i won't qualify for the promo deal ?
If I'd choose to go on a contract do you think they'll offer me the deal ?
I don't mind going for the contract due the fact i doubt my area will see anything faster than 10mbps in a good couple years.

Only 10213 can answer those questions, I'd recommend you phone from a speaker phone so you don't have to hold that irritating music to your ear for 20mins or so :D

One more thing , how do you get a data simcard?
Is it available for all uncapped subscribers , if so what do you ask for in store ?
