So I decided to check my line stats to make sure they still good after the Telkom tech came to repair my fault yesterday.
Now I see that Telkom saw fit to reduce my line speed to 3MB, WTF?!?
Can they really do that without consulting you?
My att is 6.5db and SNR is 20db so its not like 4MB would have been unstable or anything :twisted:

This is my last month with Telkom ISP.
They were great when I first moved to them, but speeds and latency have been k@k for me since the end of last year.
Will be trying Afrihost out come April.

I was also considering Afrihost, but the feedback thread is almost as bad as this one.
PM TelkomZA and hope you get Charl to attend. I've just sorted out the exact same issue. Morons moved me to 3MB from 4MB. For over a week they kept pushing my call from pillar to post. I PM'd Charl, and he sorted it out. Took him a day or 2 to respond, but he sorted it out quick. Make sure your router is left on. If only everyone at Telkom was as helpful as he is. I'm back to 4MB now![]()
