Yes, this is the case.
My cap is at a 2mb level but speeds are at 4mb.
 
Finally got my account upgraded to 10MB - it seems the only way to deal with Telkom is via hellopeter.
 
Received my latest invoice and I am very happy. Whole 4mbps uncapped bundle including telephone line works out to R705 and with the bundle discount (very happy the discount still applies) I will end up paying R616 per month.

How did you know its 24 GB? I see I am Normal User but no specifics mentioned...
 
What is the threshold for the 4mb uncapped residential adsl per month on Telkom? E.g. Mweb's 4mb standard is 110gb per 30 day rolling period, but how much is telkom's threshold?

Also what does this mean? "This uncapped ADSL offering provides you with an internet speed of up to 4** Mbps." which is under the 2mb package.

More than 350GB :)

IIRC someone pushed it to 580GB before being throttled back around March. BTW TI resets on the 1st of the month.
 
@MickZA Thanks for letting know so quick :)

Considering moving to 4mb uncapped, but the premium 4mb from mweb is too expensive. R548 bundle seems reasonable since I'm currently paying R509 for 2mb. How is your experiences with Telkom thus far if you don't mind me asking?
 
International gaming pings are way to high. 700 plus to eu servers. Speed test show ping of 250 to EU, Is gaming traffic throttled on Telkomsa?
 
Is telkom internet really slow with regards to torrents or is it just my line?

P.S I'm a new customer to ADSL and I've taken my entire package with Telkom, I'm on the basic uncapped product.
 
Anybody know if the www.userstats.adsl.saix.net is down or something, im trying to sign in, but it's not accepting my user and password, it just keeps popping up as if my details are incorrect, but they arent because when i sing into the TITRacker everything works fine, i just cant get into userstats?

Guys what does this mean? When I log into my router it says max rate 8000 and something kbs and current rate 1024kbs. I'm on a 2mb line that's supposed to be upgraded to 4mb. Does that mean I'm limited to this 1024kbs because my speed is crappy! Maximum download speed I ever got was about 110KB/s on direct downloads aswell as torrents.
