I have ask the supp at afirhost to test my line this what the emailed me.
"I have checked your account and tested the line and couldn't find any defects on both.
It was good that you tested with different accounts. The problem comes from the Telkom
exchange. Please contact Telkom and report a slow access fault with them. Please let
them know you getting latency from the exchange."

What can a consumer do when the DSLAM is congestion i have to wait like 3min for a page to load and when i run a tracert route:

Agreed...Think their system crashed and they restored from the wrong back-up (probably 1999) .... now we are screwed
Anyhow, downloads seem to be better, but latency is still over 600ms to Europe.
We are waiting for Wholesale to execute what we have requested. So yes, maybe Telkom is currently the hold up, but not us, and we do care about it, but there isn't much we can do about it until wholesale completes some of the commercial/administrative processes.
Why is my 20GB capped account so useless? It's never been like it has for the past month. I can't even stream Twitch.tv after hours, or download updates/software during hours at more than 5% of my 10Mbit line speed? Aren't capped accounts meant to be unshaped? Have things deteriorated that much?
I have PMed you before with no response, I would really appreciate one now.

They have said they are working on it, and they have also said they are waiting for things to happen that cannot take place over the weekend.
I fully understand what you saying, but I am paying good money for a service provider that delivers a sub-standard service to its customers!!!
The fewer details you give, the less chance we can do anything about it .....
We can't fix much over the weekend, but the one thing we may be able to improve is game latency for those games that aren't better since 18h00 last night. But then, we at least need to know what game.
Which region you are in would also help.
