New Kindle arrived, can't download books - Proudly by Telkom - 10MB account isn't going to cut it, maybe I need to upgrade to 40MB to download 1.3MB books?
 
Just got my new iPad Air and I'm download the Apple app suite at 440KB/s. That's full speed on my 4meg line.
I'll test Netflix later tonight.

Internet has gone to complete **** again. Was playing CS:GO now. I was teleporting all over the map I was lagging so hard. Never been that bad before.

This has been going on for weeks now. Telkom need to pull their heads out of their asses.
 
4Mbps Kirkwood, Eastern Cape.

Local speedtest is okay. Download is normal, but upload is 0.1Mbps. Wtf?

International dl is 1.6Mbps and upload 0.283Mbps

Ps4 Blacklight Retribution = 400ms.
I haven't been able to kill someone in this game for the last 2 weeks.
 
Just ordered 4mb uncapped from Telkom...

Funny thing, technician arrived, went to the junction box and was like "oh, there is no cable in here"...

Fortunately the exchange is 50M from my house so they gonna get some dude's to pull some cable through and technician is back for a Monday setup!

Cudos to Telkom for the extremely quick turn around.

Will update with speedtest as soon as everything is up and running...
 
PE. I am at work in the day so I only download at night, usually 7pm - 6am when not browsing or on Netflix.

Just tested Netflix now and streaming fine.

Speedtest is almost always fine, think its been white listed. Earlier was ok for me, internet is completely dead now though. Had to switch to my backup Afrihost account. Going to cancel this piece of schit on Monday unless things have improved by then.
 
My streaming seems to be fine. I just wish Nefflix would ramp up and use my full bandwidth. It averages around 100kB/s.
Hulu and Vevo runs at 400kB/s.

Absolutely pathetic.

Again, I've emailed and PMed every shred of information you folks have asked for. Is there any chance this will ever get sorted out?
