Any news on the remotes? I also have one of the remotes with no microphone - after the update, the interface seems more geared to voice inputs.
I asked a question somewhere re sound on the Litbox, but can't remember if you answeredI think I may have - holiday brain!
Remind me again?
Sorry !

What's coming??It's the 2nd
Hang ten for a few days so more people are back from holiday.

From Nology a while back, I'm guessing it's due to Netflix certification and possibly DSTV nowDoes anyone have a full firmware for these yet? I still have a bricked one from a forced incorrect OtA update I downloaded for the wrong version.
Count yourself lucky.Any reason why my A06 hasn't gotten the update prompt?
Ok thanks I'll do that.Get the MiBox rather, then the lit if for any reason that Mia Africa, Incredible Connection and Take-a-lot is sold out.

The voice functionality in very nice and youtube works much better through there than my lit. Also my netflix is not working (hope the update will solve this)
The LIT would do it for me then. I dont want to lose a USB for LAN so I am happy the LIT has LAN port already includedWhich Android version do you have ?
With the latest Android TV 8.0, both will have very similar software and pretty much identical hardware under the hood. The Mi box has 1 x USB and no Ethernet though, so most people are using that single USB for the Ethernet adapter (ie nothing for external storage). The LIT has the Ethernet and 2 x USB.
And there'll be a voice remote to purchase separately from next week sometime
And I just bought a new remote 3 weeks ago from them.......Bluetooth Remote Control
There should be a new remote available sometime next week through Smartkit (www.smartkit.co.za), the same place some of you purchased your IR remotes and extra PSUs from. I'm unsure of the price at this stage or exactly when in the week it'll be available, but I'm almost certain next week is the date aimed for.
It'll be compatible with all versions of the the LIT box (barring the A06) and running Android TV 8.0 (so, you'll need to the upgrade)
It'll also have direct buttons for Netflix, Google Play and YouTube

All of that is fixed in the last updateWell netflix and youtube is working on their without issue, youtube freezes non stop after 6 months of having the box and netflix has been working for 3/4 months (official app through play store) and now it doesnt. hopefully the update sorts it out
