Bluetooth Remote Control

There should be a new remote available sometime next week through Smartkit (www.smartkit.co.za), the same place some of you purchased your IR remotes and extra PSUs from. I'm unsure of the price at this stage or exactly when in the week it'll be available, but I'm almost certain next week is the date aimed for.

It'll be compatible with all versions of the the LIT box (barring the A06) and running Android TV 8.0 (so, you'll need to the upgrade)
It'll also have direct buttons for Netflix, Google Play and YouTube
Do you perhaps have a picture?

Products > Telkom LIT Box > Remote

Direct link >>> https://www.smartkit.co.za/product/telkom-lit-box-replacement-remotes-ir/ to the IR remote

On the Sonoff - maybe chat to them to about supplying them at the prices you get?
Where do you get it cheaper ?
I import them. But even so they have almost 100% markup. I understand they have a business and the convenience but it's very pricey. The switch is around 150 that charge 395 i think.
But anyway. As I say they have a business.
Thanks for the link.

ICASA Approved and warranty?
Not official though, right?

I deal with ICASA fairly often and I'm sure you know the risks involved for both you (stock confiscated at customs) and for the client (insurance / fires etc) .
Do you have a link at all to where you do it? Or do you import only for yourself?

It is OFFICIAL sonoff devices. EXACTLY the same as he is advertising. Not knockoff or generic. Though I bring them in for myself.

Ok chill - I didn't say they were fake.

I just said you don't have ICASA and it isn't through the official channel.

His are legally allowed to be here and he's invested time and money in making sure of that

Yes I'm sure he has. Like I said it works for me because i have a huge property so i use them for lights etc. Exactly why I understand why his prices are higher. I don't intend selling

So is LIT the best box to get?? I use kodi Netflix showmax dstv now

Best box, I would say no. A good box yes.

Mi Box, is better, but costs somewhat more.

A Skyworth Binge Box, is also a good choice and somewhat cheaper, just no official NetFlix support.

Yeah not the best. Nvidia Shield holds that spot. A good affordable second or third best, I would say it fits that spot closely, maybe.

I'm not fussed for games. For the most part i prefer a LAN port over wifi and must run dstv now Netflix showmax and kodi. Needs a good remote and has an air mouse preferably but can get by without.
