Settings look fine, like only other setting that would make sense is if hdmi_control_auto_device_off_enabled was 1, then I would understand the TV turning off the device.

Wow this is getting frustrating not having the official netflix app, any insider info when it might get sorted?

The recommended netflix app on apptoide keeps on stopping after every episode ends and doesnt move over to next episode. This is the same app as on the front page of the chat. Any other versions i could try?

I downloaded a offcial Netflix app straight from their site for android boxes that dont support it. Worked great for me.

The one from the Netflix site is for devices which are not certified, or do not have an official version. It doesn't allow HD with that version either. The android TV version needs certification, and that's the one we are waiting for. If you are in dire need of the android TV version, go back in the thread to page 69 and you will find a post where a member shared an unofficial netflix android TV apk which you can use.

Netflix also does this for mobile devices, they will only make content available in HDR if they approve that particular device, so if the mobile device has an HDR screen it doesn't automatically mean that the device is going to receive HDR content, the manufacturer has get their device approved first.

Finally got one today - did not have to pick up wife - so detoured past the Telkom shop, got a different lady, and they had stock - YAY!!

Now to get DSTV sorted - then all is well. Works nicely - setup and played a little with YouTube.

Now my Son wants one. All he wants is You Tube and Twitch TV ...

Ok so I just got the box yesterday, and I've been reading through the thread, but its 90 pages long on my browser. (some of it is arguments:p and a lot of it is Netflix).

So I have some questions.

What is the latest/best version of Terrarium TV? Ad free or normal. Techeads OP says download from playstore, but I dont see it there. So I have sideloaded a version I found on the net. I also have Sumen and someone elses later link I got from this thread.

What is the best launcher you guys have found. I have a smallish TV and I sit relatively far, so the small text of the leanback launcher is not really doing it for me.

Whats a recommended browser to use? I've installed chrome and puffin browser, must still try them out.
