Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

Hey everyone,

It's me again :crylaugh: .

Any info on stock availability for my cousin in Elarduspark and a really good friend in Centurion area :) ? Sadly phone numbers all said outside working hours :-( and no answer at some stores "sigh".

Or use Google drive. Save the apk on Google drive your computer, and then access on the android tv. Or use a flash disc.
 
The Android TV remote app is quite buggy when it comes to text input. If there are other suggestions of remotes to use which make text input easier, please share.

Sorry, no suggestions. But I agree that the typing using the app is tricksy.

But the microphone works well so I just voice search when I have to.
 
Hi guys

Not sure if this has been answered.

I have the A06. Is there a way to permanently disable the airmouse? I just want to use the buttons. And every single i have to switch off the airmouse as it is always on when i pick the remote up. I then click the button on the remote to disable it. I watch something and when i pick it up the airmouse is on again. It is SOOOOOO bloody annoying

Any help plz

Ordered a Raz Tech remote and Airmouse from takealot yesterday got so annoying picking up the remote and the batteries are flat

Oh yes sry I checked aswell if there is a setting to switch off the Airmouse, but after going through all the settings nothing. I suspect that the Airmouse is draining the batteries of the remote overnight hence getting the new remote

There is no way.

The airmouse is a function of the added remote, so if there is a setting, there would need to be special software that sends a signal back to the remote to disable it.

Only option is to get another remote, or live with the airmouse.

Thats soooo bad

Guess i will use a mouse or get a new remote. Thx for the confirmation. Biggest let down of a otherwise awesome device
 
i just found out something. Even if LIT box is off, put remote to your ear and you can hear a tiny whistling sound, i just take 1 battery out whenever i dont need remote.
3 weeks now on 1 set of batteries. Weird that it does it, but works for me.

I've had my lit since they were launched, and I am still on the original batteries.
