Cool - so that's just the box's way of saying no update available then? Check failed seems to imply something went wrong.

Then again argent seems to imply illiteracy. :o
 
Only the A07 serial numbers are currently receiving the updates, if no serious issues arise from these updates, they will be rolled out to the rest of us.

Thanks - but I understood you the first time. :)
 
Ok so one thing I've discovered is that the mouse cursor on the telkom infrared remote (came with the A11) doesn't work on this new oreo update. Perhaps worth noting for A11 rollout and updates on all boxes .
 
Have a few questions, will a pdf viewer eg Adobe reader run on the LIT box for me to view documents?
Also i have been trying to connect my external HDD 3.0 on the box but its not being read, is the problem on my HDD or the LIT box doesn't read externals? USB flash drive works well

Yes, I can confirm. The upgrade worked after converting SD card to removable storage.

I have an external drive connected to my LIT box, works. I can easily read from it. Copying to it, is proving a bit challenging.

You cannot write or delete files on the external. Only read. I've tried everything I could possibly think of and nothing works. Just a limitation on the box.

Shot in the dark, but it could also be the HDD's file system is in a format which Android (Linux in this case), is not allowed to write to. I've had the same problem with external drives connected to my Linux Laptop, so even though I could read the HDD, I was not able to write to it or rename files

Hard drive doesn't work for me either. I have my hard drive plugged into my router, and using a file manager to play my things.
 
Showmax rarely works for me unless I cast from my phone. All I get is the spinning blue ring. :o
 
Anybody else ran out of internal memory after the upgrade? Or anybody able to format an SD card as internal storage?

I only installed Plex after the upgrade and now I have no internal memory left. The box is also unable to convert the SD card back to internal storage after the upgrade, just saying it is incompatible when trying to format it as internal storage. It is the same 64G microSD card that worked as internal storage before the upgrade.
