so just removing the mac address from the router, rebooting the lit box, adding the mac address again , and then rebooting the lit box again solved the issueinterestingly the router doesn't show that address under dhcp clients
edit - it ocurred to me that under about - information it should list the mac address. and it indeed it does.
it hasn't changed. yet for some reason the router has stopped assigning the lit box its reserved ip address for some reason.
it's not a train smash but still an interesting development.

I can open Netflix from install but if I close Netflix and reopen it i get nw-2-5 again even with a different version.
I think it's the firmware of the LIT itself that's the issue

Yes working upstairs on Android 6 and on my phone android 8.1. Just not on this LIT box.
I flowed all the trouble shooting guides for the error code. My ISP says all is fine and they reset my link. Still the same

Yes I think the fw version you gave is correct. We had a power failure for 15 mins so I'm upstairs now

No version of Netflix works. Once installed I click open and it connects. Close Netflix or reboot and the error is back and nothing other than uninstall Netflix and reinstalling works but only onceYou shouldn't need to do anything with versions.
Once your LIT is upgraded (double check 8.2.38 by checking system <> about) - just go the store and download that Netflix

I have a single version at any one time that I manually installed to test. They all had the same issues. So yes I installed from play store but tested older versions from apkpure but all the same issueOK you may need to check with Nology. Nology is going to ask you to triple check your box firmware version. And then just go to the Play store and download Netflix.
You shouldn't have multiple versions at all.
I think you can PM them too. I'm sure I've seen PMs@Dolby do i just email nology?
