Does the LIT allow you to change the audio settings between Auto and PCM, try changing that and checking again.

Just received a package from Telkom and it has the Lit box version B10 with the new remote.

Reset my box, cleared data etc.. Set it up. Worked fine. Update pops up. Update. Resets on its own. Never comes back on. Just red lights. Probably bricked itself during update? Guessing no fixes? Nothing seems to work. Not even the hard reset button next to the usbs...

Mine did an update with an sd card plugged in and it bricked the device, lights flashed red and blue. Sent it to nology via courier and they repaired it free of charge.

My LIT Box is not updating. I did a factory reset a number of times but the update does not pop up. Tried on wireless connection and wired. Any ideas?

What android version is it on? What is the serial number of the device?, it happens automatically or nology can mayne push it through if its supposed to be updated

Nology is busy trying to sort out the issue.

So anybody else have a complete freeze of the box, when using voice? I hit voice, and the red light will come on the remote and stay like that. Will then have to completely reboot to get back in again

That explains a lot I thought you had trouble getting something else in the box

Finally got my Lit Box back!

That is exactly what my box was doing. I did a factory reset, now I cannot log into dstv now at all. Refer to my posts above, from yesterday and the day before for more info.

Now I am sitting with my finger up my butt, waiting for dstv to hire staff who actually know their products to resolve their portion of this mess.

Also experienced this on my A07. Its effing annoying.

I did a factory reset. That seems to have fixed it for now.

Will keep an eye on it

There is definitely something with the new software that stuffs up video when the lit box resumes from sleep mode. Or was doing the same after the factory reset.

I eventually set mine to power off with eye power switch. (Previously set to sleep). So far, so good, but I have only used it twice since changing the setting.

Good observation regarding sleep mode, though I'm sure there's others that do not Power off every time yet have not complained.
I will change the setting to Power Off completely now and monitor it. In any case, I do pull the plug every time this happens so powering off completely may be a better solution/quicker.

The only apps that i use are:

Blokada
Morpheus
TVZion

Other than that its just DSTV and Showmax for watching shows

TVZion

Other than that its just DSTV and Showmax for watching shows

Also thought about this and even the possibility that we may have the same app that's causing the issue.
Besides all official apps, I have:
Cyberflix, TitaniumTV, TeaTV, Mobdro, Blokada (All side loaded)
Sideload Launcher, Puffin Browser, FX File Explorer (I think all these are available through the official Play Store)
