Telkom LIT Android media box - Tips/Tricks/Apps thread

So what's the issue with WiFi on the litbox? Then apps work, then it says no connectivity despite being successfully connected? Anyway, via Ethernet no problems..this box of mine is for sale

Look in the corner of your room, you will see a rectangular container it is called a B.I.N throw it in there and buy a shield

There was an issue with the software and updating via Ethernet / WiFi - I can't recall the details, but I'm sure it was changed with a FW update. Although, I may confusing with the Ematic ... but I can check

Because Ethernet for me is fine on the litbox, but wifi seems dead
 
What web browsers do you guys use on the Lit Box?
I have been using Puffin up until recently when it stopped downloading files. Gives an error every time I try to download any file from the web.
I don't use the web browser all the time to download stuff, but will be helpful if I need to download an apk or something to the Lit box quickly.

I don't often download from the internet to the box, so I have not yet looked for an elegant solution. What I do is:
1. Download the file from the internet to my phone or PC.
2. Move / copy the file to eg Dropbox
3. I use Solid Explorer as my preferred file manager on the box, to access or install the file from Dropbox.
 
GOTA Update to 9.6.7 what's this about?


Did the update says android pie

The escape and back buttons on my Logitech keyboard are not working anymore

There's another Button on the keyboard that works as back.

Also backspace works in Kodi but not in the main OS
 
My A11 does not have an update ...

@Dolby did mention that they where working on one.

Happy with mine as is, but then have a simple setup. LIT box via HDMI to a computer monitor, via optical cable to a JBL 2.0 sound bar, on my desk and it works great.
