Hello does anyone use the,
SDR to HDR
and
HDR to SDR settings on the lit box?

I'm trying to figure out when to use them and if you should or not.

Turn it off. The content you're watching will either have HDR or not. Don't turn HDR off, just turn off the feature that allows you to convert it.

This is the instruction I got from Nology a couple of years ago:

Here is how to do a hard factory reset on the device:

• Remove the power cable.

• Insert a paper clip into the hole between the two USB ports.

• Press and hold the reset button while inserting the power cable until an Android recovery screen appears, then release the reset button.

• Select factory reset and then reboot on the remote.

Only if you throw it in the trash (along with everything else telkom) and buy a stock android TV device.

You can still use it to cast music to. Attach to a hifi or something with speakers and cast braai/party music to it (headless/no tv).

Or use all the other non-Netflix apps that's still working.

I'll be honest. We're still using our LIT Box in the bedroom. I have Kodi and Tivimate working well on it. So far it has outlived a Mi Box.

Also still using ours. It still works great. Seems like some people get vague mental blocks for reasons unbeknowns

Personally, I wouldn't write off the LIT Box just because it doesn't play Netflix. I mean Disney+, Prime, Showmax and DStv play very well. It's a good start up.

Albeit a very slow box ... , and it does work

haha I don't know what I expected to be honest.. Wishful thinking I suppose! I haven't been around this thread for a few years and I don't see anything on the search, but anyone know if there's a firmware that can be downloaded and flashed to the device with odin (or any other way)?
