Please can someone help a computer illiterate
I have a mobile phone on contract with sim and an LTE Huawei router with separate sim
I purchased a 500GB bundle from Telkom for R 1799 in January and have received notification that am Out Of Bundle. I do not use the internet to download movies etc so cannot understand how it can already be depleted.
I have tried everything to see my data usage but cannot find how to do this.
I have registered with MyTelkom and cannot link the LTE sim as it wants an OTP which obviously I cannot receive as the sim is in the router.
PLEASE can someone help me
Many thanks

Hi, I'd suggest putting the SIM in our phone to receive the OTP. However you can just try this. No need to register if it's a one off check.

ACCOUNT BALANCE

Dial *188# / *100# / *101#

(With the sim in the phone)

Should receive a sms with the remaining data balance.

You can also log into your router via web browser, 192.168.8.1, user:admin password: admin (unless you manually changed these defaults), from the sms option send a blank sms to 188

I should have typed 50Gb and not 500
Thank you for the replies I will try the various options now and give you feedback
I am just so frustrated

I'm not familiar with the Telkom mobile data bundles but does unused data roll over indefinitely?

I tried all the above options without any success. So I now connect to the internet via hotspot as I am not prepared to be ripped off by Telkom. I point blank refuse to pay for data if this is what is going to happen. I could end up paying a small fortune annually for data I have not used but am paying for.
I only need the data for my computer as I have an umlimited cell contract with Telkom.
Thank you again for all your help - much appreciated

Certainly some of above would work, but you didn't try...
There is another one:

Go from this SIM to: http://onnet.telkom.co.za
The first time it will offer to register. Ignore, you can do it later.
