So, my bill just dropped to R525

Something tells me that something fishy is going on though... (iPhone - supporting 2300 MHz and router forced to 2300mhz)

I think you should check what band your iphone using it might be that it's on band 3 even though it supports band 40.

I wish i get those speeds too...but like I mentioned before my LTE tower is slow even with full signal...i'm using the E5776.

Hey guys.
Looking at a place in Glen Austin AH(Hampton Road)
Telkom Coverage map claims there's full LTE and LTE-A Signal, but I don't trust that thing at all. Talking from experience here.
Can anyone maybe let me know how the area is? I'm hoping there's someone out there.

if i were to Reveal The speed you buggers would drop it down to 1 Mb/s and that will Annoy me!

Today I got a prepaid Telkom sim card and loaded some data on it to replace my Rain LTE service which was just shocking. In my B315 router. Not great but better than Rain LTE. Stupid question how do you check the remaining data balance on this sim without sticking it in a phone and dialing a nr?

Go to 192.168.8.1 from your browser, log in and enter *188# in the USSD tab and press Send. You should receive an SMS with your data balance that you can read via the SMS tab.

Hi does anyone have the correct internet settings for a data SIM? My internet connectivity has become unusably in the few weeks can't maintain a connection...

Back in 2015 I used to het speeds in excess of 60Mb



But for the past few months it has been below 1Mb and Telkom does not know what the problem is
