Telkom, please fix this

Little update from my side.

Received this email from my Telkom techie.
Please check for any difference in latency, GDB 1 & 2 rerouted to a different STM-1 link, should be OK now.

Since Friday my latency seems stable. @ MR Jax - maybe you can ask them to also reroute you as well on ot a diff STM-1 link.

Looks like this problem is getting worse, not better! It just spread over to JHB/Edenvale now too!

If anybody manages to sort this out, give us some info on who at Telkom sorted it out for you, so we can try to bribe him with rewards. Thanks!
 
Same problem here

Same problem in the Silver Lakes area in Pretoria. Internet slows to a crawl during evenings and weekends.

I have been playing WOW for around two years on a ping of +=300ms on my 384Kbps lien. These days I am lucky if I get 1000ms. During evenings and weekends I get anything from 6000ms - 29000ms. Needless to say the connection to the game server does not last very long before I am disconnected.
