Telkom response useless

My adsl has been down for a week with no action by Telkom. Is this normal?
 
I started a Telkom repair time rant not long ago. You can go and read all about my experience in there. I would say a week is fairly normal...
 
Depends... where are you (town/city)? Is it cable theft related?
I'm in blairgowrie, I doubt it's theft as they should have said so, I guess. I think it's weather related
 
Would they give a credit note for lack of service?
