correct you need a profile upgrade but some peeps dont know what they are saying so ignore the garbageI thought a port reset wouldn't do anything?

Umm no it's not ;/ I've done a port reset through afrihosts clientzone and still syncing at 2mbps.

Yay, I now have the problem I feared I might have.
The ADSL checker says Im on 4Mb now (was on 2Mb), but its broken my ADSL connection. Last night it was not syncing at all. This morning when I woke up I saw ADSL line and ISP connected... line only synced at 256Kbps, then I reset my router, synced at 412, and later on 387Kbps.
My stats changed from : (which it always was running at)
Speed 2048; Line Attenuation 53dB, Noise Ratio 11.9dB
to:
Speed 256; LA 64dB, Noise 6.9dB
Speed 412; LA 64dB, Noise 5.3dB
Speed 387; LA 63.5dB, Noise 5.1dB
So alot worse.
Where to now; how do I get this fixed ? Could TelkomZA help?

Ive been upgraded 2-->4MbJust a nice phone call specifying I see on ADSL checker it says 4Mb but im only Syncing at 2. ^^
I keep checking the ADSL checker every 5 mins

I'm durban and yes I've checked the adsl checker, it's been showing 4mbps from Sunday but they refuses to upgrade me when I call and even a port reset didn't do much, it's either our technicians in durban are sleeping or they upgrading the locations thats most busy. What's sad is I'm on a telkom bundle. We supposed to get priority service. I think I'll call them again and bug them![]()
Yea, telkoms support in durban seems very ****. 3 weeks and still waiting for a technician to fix my bloody line. Also seem to be last when it comes to upgrades![]()

You should be grateful that you have 4mb unlike some who cant even get more than 2mb
