The ADSL checker says Im on 4Mb now (was on 2Mb), but its broken my ADSL connection. Last night it was not syncing at all. This morning when I woke up I saw ADSL line and ISP connected... line only synced at 256Kbps, then I reset my router, synced at 412, and later on 387Kbps.

My stats changed from : (which it always was running at)
Speed 2048; Line Attenuation 53dB, Noise Ratio 11.9dB

to:
Speed 256; LA 64dB, Noise 6.9dB

Speed 387; LA 63.5dB, Noise 5.1dB

So alot worse. :(

Where to now; how do I get this fixed ? Could TelkomZA help?

Yeah you have too much noise on your line you should down grade to your previous best call telkom Or wait till they complete the upgrades it might improve

Ive been upgraded 2-->4Mb :D Just a nice phone call specifying I see on ADSL checker it says 4Mb but im only Syncing at 2. ^^

What's sad is I'm on a telkom bundle. We supposed to get priority service. I think I'll call them again and bug them:P

Yea, telkoms support in durban seems very ****. 3 weeks and still waiting for a technician to fix my bloody line. Also seem to be last when it comes to upgrades :(

Don't remind me. My internet runs flawless but to make a call, you'll think twice!! All you hear is static sounds. When I do call a techi, all they do is cut and join. Sometimes I feel like stealing my own telephone wire and forcing them to replace. ( I'm just kidding Mr policeman that's mentioning me)

hahaha :P I just specified that I was checking my line when I noticed the ADSL checker shows 4Mb but my router only syncs at 2Mb. 2min later I was syncing at 4Mb :D Good luck

I am although I am now paying for 10 meg which I can't get with the do capped bundle so if they not going to ever upgrade me I am thinking of going the uncapped option.
