Telkom Speed Upgrades

Hi guys. If your speeds have been upgraded, please report it here. I don't check my router interface regularly so as people report that they have been upgraded, myself and others can check if we've been upgraded.
 
Just check. But wouldn't you notice a difference on downloads or just general usage?
 
Upgrades, if any, will take place after 31st of August.

The migration to the new packages will take place on Aug 31 but as per tech central , speed upgrades will take place immediately and will be completed within a month.
 
Yip, on 100GB capped Telkom Internet account.

Line has been pushed back up to 12Mbps. ASSIA kicked in around 02:40am. :)

Holding steady at SNR 6.4dB. :D

Were you on 4Mbps and upgraded to 10Mbps?
 
@moedawood - no, was on 10Mbps but due to line issues months ago, i was not stable on 12Mbps so ASSIA pushed it back down. Now that our line is more stable due to a senior technician doing his magic by shortening our cable outside from the pole, it shouldn't have an issue now. I did type out a long story but guess you can't avoid that lol.

I'll check if our neighbour's has gone up, they are on a 4Mbps line and believe they cannot go higher.
 
My line is down, fingers crossed it's a sign that my line is being upgraded from 4MB to 10MB.

Sorry to be bearer of bad news but looks like there is a big outage happening from telkom. Tech also don't work at night so no upgrade will happen now...
