Is anyone getting help from TelkomZA today? He/they are refusing to answer me.
 
Hi TelkomZA

I sent you a PM yesterday and just sent another one now. I tried messaging Telkom on Twitter, they don't reply. I sent a message on facebook and received a reply but no feedback. I escalated yesterday, though Telkom seems to have given me a fake escalation number, so I've escalated again today. Is there any way to speed things up? Thanks

Think Charl is on a leave of absence... I know I would be after everything he has done so far.
 
Maybe they moved him because he was helping too many customers?
 
Ive noticed when going trough the following hop is when we get the latency on on-line applications/gaming:

6 244 ms 243 ms 243 ms ams-ip-hsll-1-gig-0-1-0.telkom-ipnet.co.za [196.43.9.82]

But now how do we go about reporting this?
 
Still waiting for assistance Telkom. Why is it taking so long? Why does nobody even acknowledge my issue?

Just a quick one, when Telkom decided to upgrade all ADSL user with new speeds.
Did Telkom do their home work to see that user capasity will be met. Then are the ISP up to scratch to meet demand?

I had the same issue. No one responds... Best is to call 10210 and ask them to escalate the matter. Unfortunately, nothing seems to be done if you leave it to Forums/Twitter/Facebook. GL!
 
The problem is, I cant call them on 10210, because I've already moved. And they dont answer their 011 number. So I have no way of reaching them. I will have to go into the telkom shop on Monday.

if they had just done their damn job and moved when they said they would, this wouldnt be necessary. Or even if they had just phoned me on Tuesday and said, we cant help you today because we are busy, but will help you on the XXth, that would be fine. But no, they do nothing.
 
PM on Tuesday, full speed connections on Thursday - excellent support and kudos to Telkom for monitoring MyBB, Twitter and Facebook in order to assist clients.

I would PM Ranger and provide him with the info.
He is active in the TI uncapped thread.

He is very busy, but he is the guy to talk too.

Tnx for the PM. Much appreciated for what you have done so far.

It takes time for TelkomZA to respond, but he will eventually. So be patient.
