Terminator: Dark Fate

Things keep getting worse for John Connor with each Terminator film after T2.

T3 - whiny adult bitch
Salvation - the original ending had him dead with the cyborg guy wearing his face and impersonating John Connor.
Genisys - He's the villain now
Dark Fate - f**k you, you're no longer the chosen one
 
Apparently box office numbers are terrible - get woke, go broke!

How was Edward Furlong in the movie?

Man, all I hope for is a decent Terminator action flik. Get the heck outta here with any sjw woke crap and just make a good movie.
 
Must admit getting tired of SJW politics being injected into every damn thing...

Even though I think Terminator 1 and 2 were very good, and the rest were Ok'ish, but I definitely won't bother with this one - on principle I think any movie with a SJW inspired plot should be ignored.

Tired of being told how to think by hive mind ignoramuses who cannot think for themselves!

The terminator gets a similar politically correct treatment as the star wars Disney sequels with racial diversity and feminism. You can tell Arnold and Linda did it for the money without bringing much passion to the screen and the new actors/characters are flat and weak. There's not much action till the last 30 min and even then its heavily cgi'd/cartoonish and you don't care about any of the characters.

Now all we need is to invent a time machine and send someone to 1997 and stop James Cameron from making titanic so he could direct the proper conclusion to the terminator trilogy with a young Arnold and save us from all these dreadful sequels from the last 20 years.
 
I don't get why people are seeing politics and feminism in the movie. Yeah many of the actors are female, but what's wrong with that?

People who make a noise about such things are giving it a voice and making a mountain out of a molehill. I do agree that some things in movies are stupid like that female get-together moment at the end of Avengers Endgame. This movie didn't evoke any of that sort of stuff.

It's like that saying, "Only racists see racism everywhere". If you are continuously seeing things and getting worked up about it, then maybe you should look at yourself instead of others as the problem.

Nobody made a big deal about Ripley in Aliens being female, or Sarah Connor in T1/T2 being female. They just were female and they kicked ass. They were the original strong female leads.

But this movie is selling itself on having female leads. T2 sold itself as being a good movie that happened to star a woman in a leading role. Aliens sold itself as being a good action horror movie that happened to have a woman as the lead protagonist.

This movie wants to convince you to see it not because it is a good movie but because it is a feminist movie.

So, here's an idea. Don't bother with what the reviews say or what imbd (which, let's face it, is a bunch of ****tards like us - random internet users...) has to say about anything and just go watch it for the entertainment? Imagine if you could just watch something and make up your own mind...

Speaking for myself, I've watched several movies of late that, only months after the fact, when I bothered to listen to the hype, was I informed that they had xyz agenda attached. When I watched them I simply enjoyed them as the simple break from reality they can be.
