Testers Wanted - Netflix DNS Proxy

I'm using my own proxy and it was still working as of last night (28/06/2015).

I'm going to rebuild it at some point as I think i've got a better way for Hulu to work...

Still not working Hey.. With the dns enabled it won't resolve any sites. Any testing I can do?

I'll check when I get home. Didn't use it yesterday, but the night before it was working for me.

EDIT: 22:38 - 01/07/2015 - Logged in now and watching a mini series on Pablo Escobar... I'm not sure why you're seeing issues? Using a Roku 3.

Gave it another go tonight and all working again.. Happily Nexfling away

found this free alternative. Also working 100% no issues so far
tvunblock.com/
What's going to happen when your ISP assigns you a different IP? Because from where I'm sitting the "free" option only assigns 1 IP to associate with you.

OK, it doesn't really look like you need to register for the free option so you can just act like you're a new user if you get a new IP :p

Out of interest, with what device are you watching? And do both Hulu+ and Netflix work?

You visit the page everytime your IP changes, which basically then allows the new IP to access the DNS.

I am using a GBOX MX2 with XBMC / NetFlix / Crackle.

All working 100%

I'm rebuilding the backend now on a newer Linux kernel and moving from HAProxy to SNIProxy which should make a world of difference and offer more support for more devices. It also allows me to wildcard domains to get around GEOIP so I no longer need to find the specific subdomain to proxy.

It should be up later tonight on the same IP.

Dankie :)

Hi,

Please test and confirm.

I'd also like the Hulu users to tell me if this works on Android / Roku etc...

I'll be doing UK support on the weekend if this proves to be stable. HAProxy was too temperamental...

Netflix working again.
Dont have a Hulu subscription but going to the page moans about it not being allowed outside the US.

Bah, Hulu bans IP blocks and I'm guessing they've banned the block in in as they're way more strict on GEOIP than Netflix is!

I wonder if I can replace backend with a new IP to see if it works... Only question is how to see what IP's aren't banned!
