Texo down?

Yes we are back up. Still very frustrating not getting any news and or information from our host!

Elite Host is looking pretty good anyone use them?

Thanks for that comment :) Communication during downtime is definately something that should be high priority of a hosting company.

One of our International servers has some issues on friday (with semaphores). It was resolved pretty fast though.

Anyone else getting 404 errors from sites? A bunch of mine just show up as 404 now :/

Check which IP address its using. If you're getting the 404 error, it might be displaying the site off the old server IP. Use the direct ip to chech i.e. xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/~username

erm, OK I know I'm having some problems with MTN somewhere along the line but is Texo down again?

Twitter Updates

We seem to be experiencing a very large DDOS attack.
19 Nov, 22:19

This attack is huge - 8 technicians working on it.

Slowly winning the war: 90% up now.

This DDOS is huge!: our servers have been up for a while (except shared server bradbury). 4 UK datacentres (not just ours) affected!
20 Nov, 02:09

The backup running on bradbury has to complete before we can bring the server back online -- another 30 minutes tops.

There was a huge DDOS attack on 4 Data Centres in Europe last night, so expect things to be a bit wobbly I think ... but otherwise my site seems to be working.

Bradbury seems to be a cursed server. If you're on it, we'll be moving you to another server tonight. I can't wait to pull the plug on it.

And now we have to deal with the flak. I have to try explain to customers now that their sites are down, and will be down for prob the rest of today, cause some TIT decided to wreak havoc.
