The 2016 Way Less Objectivity thread

Hi Guys

What is the quickest way to lose a boep, I have recently bought me a road bike.

What other tips can you guys give me to get rid off it quick. I also want to start running and most people say it burns the boep away quicker. Any certain type of foods I can eat and what to avoid.

LCHF works for me. On principles, not a Tim Noakes follower.

Not trying to lose weight but got a little wobblier over the last month or so. Definitely need to get back to gym.

Starting weight: 116kg (2014); 100kg (2015)
Current weight: 111.2kg (new digital scale)
Goal weight: 95kg
Method: LCHF (medium fat, not too keen on loads of cream and butter) + increased activity + hopefully regular sit-ups & squats

Gained 1kg... it all goes to the tummy area :/

@fanie, shouldn't this thread be called the fat loss thread? Unless people don't care about losing muscle mass...

I will join you all in this.

I stepped on the scale this morning and found I gained 3kgs over this December  ... for most of last year I have been stuck in the 107kg area.

Starting weight: 110.7kg (2016)
Current weight: 110.7kg
Goal weight: 95kg
Method: a walk/jog every morning (trying to get into this and build it into running) + ease up on drinking + portion control + play cricket (20/20) and go for a longer walk/jog every weekend + hopefully more regular exercise + learn as I go and see what I can do to improve

Hey folks... count me in.

I have lost a lot of weight since 2014/2015... fluctuated between 115kg and 123kg, down from around 138kg in 2012/2013.

So, rolls up sleeves (not ready to roll up T-shirt just yet, tummy is storage depot for surplus mass, grrrr);

Current weight: 106kg
Goal weight: 90kg
Method: Um... just winging it... will attempt the LCHF routine again and walk twice daily for 30mins each walk. Replace most drinks with water and sip neat bourbon sacrificing beers and mixers.

So, my hat is now firmly in the ring... let the game begin!
