My advice, is to not seek suitable sweet alternatives, as it makes the whole process way harder.

The cravings do go away, I can assure you.

You are addicted to sugar. Hence the cravings. Fight through it. It will go away and you'll be happier coming out the other the side. Trust me.

Funny thing is I admit I love simba chips, don't actually care for sweets or chocolates. I hardly ever eat chocolate. The cravings are driving me crazy I thought I would be craving alcohol or chips but I have been wishing for something sweet anything sweet even fruit

Sugar doesn't always come in sweets... Even normal everyday food has sugar in it. Carbs. Now that you aren't eating carbs, you are automatically not eating sugar.

I need to look for more eating plans and help. I am tired of my current menu

Swam 50 lengths today! :D

Current weight: 138 Kg.

That means I've lost 9Kg since I started!

I just eat eggs and bacon in the morning and lunch either chicken, fish or meat and evening or chicken or meat... Some veggies now and again
Some veggies? Meat is meat and one can't be very creative with it... But your side dish is most important... You should try to get quite a few ones that you can rotate around...

Wait until they fall down because you forgot to wear a belt!
Lol, I went through this late 2015.

My wife replaced all my chinos and baggies. Everything was too big. Like waaaay too big.

Then I ran out of holes on my belts, so she replaced those (not making new holes).

This all around Nov.

28 Dec I weighed myself to see if I had picked up anything over Christmas. Nope - done 500g. No increase.

My 2 new belts have now run out if holes. On the last. Need to drop another size on the chinos too.

All shirts were replaced early Jan, so all is good there.

Hitting the carbs hard, but low on the sugar. Still struggling to lose a bit of weight on the gut (and it is just a bit - then the 6 pack should start showing :)), and from what I just saw in The Sugar Film, the bit of sugar I am still getting is the culprit. So I know what needs to be done. 70's, here I come.

I'm amazed at how stubborn belly fat is. I barely eat any sugar at all - in fact I think I have none during the week, not even products with sugar added to them. And a consistently large calorie deficit, sometimes up to 1500 calories per day. And I fast most of the day.

And even then, this belly fat clings on to me. Everything else is actually looking lean, you can see my shoulder muscles etc. You can see my ribs easily. But my belly fat is still there.

no wonder your body is holding onto its reserves. It thinks it's starving.

That's not how it works. Google intermittent fasting.

If I ate 1000 calories per day divided into 3 meals, my body would go into starvation mode. Because I only eat once per day, my body stays in the fasted state most of the day.

In fact, studies have shown that when fasting, your metabolism increases, it doesn't slow down.

Do some reading on it.
