I think Stevi is referring to the wife.
Did she have lipo?
I've reached a milestone, no real progress since my last report, but my wife and I have successfully completed the 1st round of 28 days of our eating plan. I have lost a total of 12.2kg's during the time and she has lost a majestic 19.2kg's during the 28 days.
We have proven to ourselves that we can stick it out for 28 days. Furthermore, I believe that what I have gained from this was the following: habit of taking smaller portions; getting over sugar habit/dependency; generally healthier foods (no junk food; increased intake in fruit and veggies); increased water intake; self motivation (blood pressure much better; fitting into older clothes again; getting up from the couch much easier; etc).
This plan is certainly not for everyone, but if anybody is interested, I can share the details with you. I can vouch for the fact that I have not experienced any adverse effects while being on this eating plan - no drops in blood sugar or anything experienced.
19.2kgs in 28 days?

Thanks for the feedback. I am due to see my doctor this week for an updated blood pressure medication prescription and will take the plan with to discuss with him. It is important to mention that I am currently obese class 3. I understand that there could be potential health complications arising from the eating plan, but I am making good progress in improving some of the actual existing health issues I have been experiencing for years - blood pressure probably being the biggest among them. Just to try and complete the picture: I went on medication with a blood pressure of about 165/110. After using medication for a while, I managed it to a level of about 135/95. Halfway through the first round, I measured it to be at 120/72.
I will report back after speaking to the doctor.

how long was the break? and how much did you gain in that time?
Thanks man.I guess being served with a final notice so to speak, really did the trick.
That's kinda what made me stop smoking...... every year got sick, getting worse and worse per year.... and eventually ended with pneumonia. Since I've stopped smoking I've probably had bronchitis once. It's been 7 years
Hah. I added more to my post.
But I can relate - I seem to be getting sick more often as well - I used to get sick maybe once in 3 years, but I've been ill 4 or 5 times in the last 2. I think I have been severely reducing my immune system functionality by eating so much crap and being so overweight.
are you doing LCHF now?
I'm not following any strict plan, I'm just being a lot more disciplined. Since stopping the binge eating (many pizzas/hamburgers a week), I was surprised to find I still have a pretty great metabolism. The wife's pretty jealous, though, I think snails are faster than her metabolism. She's been following the same eating pattern as I am, and gymming about 3 or 4 times a week, and only eats portions of a mouse, and she's only lost 3KG in the same time, despite being about 20KG overweight to start with. I really wish I could help her more. When she tries these metabolism boosters, all of them give her heart palpitations and she goes dizzy, and besides I believe they don't do much anyway.
