The 2017 Weightloss Thread

Fanie, minor request, can you make the alternate lines gray background a bit darker, I seem to lose track when scanning across.
 
To those doing LCHF diets, using the MyFitnessPal App has helped me a lot.

Remember to log ALL your food, even the snacks you think are fine.

I've been craving snacks and decided that instead of candy and processed crap I'd stick to natural foods like bananas and carrots since they're not sugary juicy fruit etc.

WRONG. Turns out these are LOADED with carbs. :( Just 1 banana already takes me to my carb max limit on my macros. :/

That said, I started gymming again and as exhausted as I feel, it does feel good.

:erm: umm ja... no fruits dude, and stick to the green list (and to veg that grow above the ground)

I simply don't snack. I can't abide having to keep track of what I'm taking aboard.

This, on top of once-per-day eating, well, I think I'm probably already under my goal weight for the 2017 challenge, or at least pretty close.
 
I've also had a slow start... this week i'm going out hard.

BulletProof Coffee for brekkie... only water throughout the day (no coffee) and then dinner... let's see how that goes. I farked up on Saturday again :(

Soon, weekends been good to me so hopefully a drop by wednesday. Also not pushing it as I reached that initial goal end of last year and I can feel the body adjusting.

Impressive. LCHF? Would largely be water but still good going.

Thanks, yes sir LCHF. I think it's more the calorie count than anything else. Since I started logging my foods on MyFitnessPal I've been gobsmacked by just how much calories is in healthy foods etc.

The amount of carbs in just about anything also shocked me. So now im down to basics until I get my rhythm.
