The 2019 Weight Loss Thread - Workout Check-in Thread

Got home 45min later than usual. Still did my sprints in the dark. Damn Street lights been out of order for 3 weeks. Reported numerous times.

Nice.. nothing like doing it despite the voices in your head trying to give you reasons for not doing them.

Got a nice streak going with AB exercises for the month and pushed it at gym today on the assault fitness bike. Feeling great. A new 30 min Kcal PB for this toppie :D

No energy today. Emo. Didn’t fuel the body correctly. Everything is connected. So we learn.

If there is one thing I've learned in the past few years... It is that 60sec can either be a very very long time or an incredibly short time. Especially with HIIT training.

Very very long if you need to sprint for 60sec at 100% effort.

Incredibly short of you have 60sec of rest before your next sprint.

When I say 60s short I mean I actually had to stop. I tripped up a few times but I don’t count it if I keep bouncing. Only 3 breaths but it was still a tactical error on my part lol.

Rest day :D

Gym day (actually did supercircuit) and then came back home to continue my Ab exercise streak. Again hit 400kcal in a touch more time than the fitness bike. #feeling_strong

Parents came over for dinner but did manage a quick 30min core session before they arrived.

No tracking. Garmin needed a charge.

Honest question. How do you guys run such long distances?

Physically I understand and I will be able to as well. But mentally I get seriously bored and my mind starts to wander after about 1.5km.

Please understand I'm not knocking it at all and I know some people love it. But personally I struggle to stay focused/motivated/positive (not sure what the right word is) with such a monotonous task. And I've done my fair share of 5 - 6km runs. I always go back to weights and HIIT.

effing work yesterday...later walk but i might end the day with a few drinks. signicant work delivery and general slog must be celebrated..

Very relaxed leg and core session as I'm not really supposed to be doing strenuous stuff with the new tattoo.

But I need to keep up the routine for fear of falling off the wagon again.

Bodyweight Lower Body Circuit.

Saw a single kettlebell flow workout on my Facebook feed a couple of days ago that looked really cool. Think I might try something long those lines tomorrow.
