The 2019 Weight Loss Thread

Been out of town for a couple weeks. New low 157.4KG. 3kgs to go for 80kgs total loss

That is really amazing. Would you be prepared to share a little more about your journey? I'm sure it would be inspirational to many people.

Age 36
- Male
- Height 1.89m
- Change eating habits, more active lifestyle
- 130kg
- 103kg (start of march - start of the weight loss process), currently at 93kg
- 80kg

In march blood tests came back with worryingly high cholesterol levels. I've changed my diet to eat significantly less saturated foods and this month have put work into doing 4km walks during my lunch break.

Got myself a hauwei (ha ha) band 3 to track my walks and throw stats at me in order to keep me motivated.

Check in, 101.9kg.
Just over a kilo down this week (nursing a piriformis strain so zero exercise this last week too) and broke past the 40kg's lost overall. Very happy with my progress.

Well done. 40Kg's is an impressive achievement.

89kg. finally replaced the batteries. need to keep a lid on my lifestyle since i let it slide into type ****ing 2.

BMI says 75kg is ideal so we will see where this goes.

Ok I'm going to look into intermittent fasting as well as low carb...

/sigh

Thanks will look into it.
16/8 working perfectly for me schedule wise though :)

I pretty much do 16:8 by default just by virtue of the fact that I don't usually eat breakfast on work days. Also often skip lunch on Fridays (although not lately) which is my rest day from exercise.

Weigh in, 100.7kgs, another 1.2kgs down this last week. Stoked with current progress. Hopefully I'll break into double digits next week, will be the first time in 19 years.
