The Anni Dewani Murder Case

The prosecutions case doesn't seem to be going very well, the current witness Tongo keeps forgetting things, contradicting himself and saying he only remembers some things now after being in jail that he forgot to tell the police at the time. Very unreliable witness imo

The way things are going, there is reasonable doubt already:
1. was the R10 000 taken from Anni's handbag or not, and not from the car as was supposedly agreed.
2. was Anni shot from the front passenger seat or from the back door of the car.
and then smaller issues.

Roux you called it, the states case is falling apart. Chief witness is a liar and unreliable.

I don't - but it seems you believe every single thing you read in the papers or consume from other forms of mass media.

What happened was in Dewani's case is that some criminals wanted to kidnap his wife and extort lots of money from him as they figured he was a loaded foreigner.

What makes you so sure he is guilty marine1?

The fact that this story was just too bizarre to not be true.
He lied about his sexuality
He did not want to come back and face the music - sign of guilt
He searched for porn straight after she went missing / was found

There is no smoke without fire and there is no way these guys already convicted would have concocted such a dramatic lie.
People's memories fade, they forget. thats the problem with eyewitness testimony

You need more than that to convict someone of murder. Jeez.

1-He lied about his sexuality - Many people lie about their sexuality, especially to family that would not accept it. That's where the term 'coming out of the closet' comes from, people hide being gay because it's unacceptable to family. This is neither here nor there and is certainly not evidence of a murder plot.
2-He did not want to come back and face the music - sign of guilt - No, it's a sign of PTSD and being afraid of 'justice' in a violent third world country, of being found guilty of something he didn't do, of having to spend time in prison in a dangerous third world country while awaiting trial. There are many reasonable reasons someone would be afraid to return. This is not evidence of guilt or a murder plot by him.
3-He searched for porn straight after she went missing / was found - many people use sex and porn to help them cope with stress. While distasteful and inappropriate it's not evidence of guilt or a murder plot.
4-People's memories fade, they forget. thats the problem with eyewitness testimony
This is true, but the same testimony you're talking about is what was used to arrest him in the first place so either you accept the eyewitness testimony or you don't. You seem to want to accept it if it shows him to be guilty but to discard it as unreliable if not. And the mistakes and irregularities in Tonga's testimony is extreme, more than just fading memory, it smacks of lies and story telling to get out of sticky situation on his part.

Ha, they only agreed to testify for the state if they got reduced sentences.

In fact one of the states witness' said 'whats in it for me' before uttering a single word for the states case.

Oh yeah this is not simple slips of memory

You seriously believe he is guilty? My god ........

He lied about his sexuality
I would too if I can from that background
He did not want to come back and face the music - sign of guilt
No because the media already polarised the country against him. A fair trail seemed unlikely and our prisons are death traps.

So what? I might too.

Stop believing the media and start thinking. You probably thing the SAPS did a stellar task in the Inge Lotz case too and that Fred is guilty?
