The Bafana Bafana Thread

Sandton and Hillbrow must be rocking right now. Ace of spades galore!

:( Losing like that is disappointing. The game was there for the taking.

They played better than any Bafana side I can remember. Hugo has done well with his coaching structure and tactical setup… if they keep him and bring some exciting youngsters they will keep doing well

Same here.

I just hope BB qualifies for the World Cup in 2026 (would be their first WC since 2010).

I think we will, there is more spots (9 up from 5) and we are playing better however the top 5 teams fell out of Afcon early so its not a given.

I hope they have now improved the Africa WC qualification format now. Before it was structured in a way that the best teams did not always qualify. Egypt and Senegal should not have had to play each other last time for a spot especially as both were consistent.

Imo, the African qualification format was one of the reasons it took so long for the continent to have a team in the semis of the WC.

Kudo's to the coach, for getting the performance he has from what are essentially a lot of donkeys. Half decent donkeys, but still donkeys. Only really good talent in the team is the keeper, and as good as he is, he lacks a bit of hieght.

If only the coach, could get the buggers to score goals.

They progressed further than I initially expected them to.

So hopefully the coach stays, and gets the team to score goals they are desperately in need of.

Keep improving Bafana
