The Bafana Bafana Thread

It was a decent result. We're ahead of Nigeria in our group and stand a real chance, I hope that we can actually qualify this time, it's good for the sport in SA.
Same here. Maybe it is just what we need to drive a Kolisi moment for Bafana?

I still remember watching the Tshabalala goal vs Mexico with my parents in 2010 in front of one of those old 4:3 TVs...

Those are kinds of moments I want more people to experience. Most people under 30 won't have experienced what World Cup qualification feels like. It's scary how long ago 2001 is now.

Calling on all patriotic South Africans, we are duty bound to support our national team no matter what.

We have a date with Zimbabwe at 6pm, probably on some SABC channel.

Qualifying alongside Lesotho would be even more epic, their illegal miners annoys me but I love the country and it's people.

Mates who went say the crowd control, going into the stadion was bad, the guys behind where pushing those going into the gates hard.

Then after the game, at the food stall a fat bugger started pushing his MK politics, was promptly told to bugger off, and push his political **** some where else.

Nigeria lost to Benin yesterday, our group is going to be very tough, all the underdogs are punching way above their weight.

Yeah I see Nigeria have 0 wins from 4, hopefully they beat some of the other teams to help us but winning remaining games is a must.

We did well by scoring goals yesterday, could have been better if we didn’t concede, our away record is not too shabby as well, still loads of work to be done but the formula is still the same, win the games we are supposed to win, Zimbabwe, Lesotho, and the rest will work itself out.

Had no idea the support was so bad at games, I remember driving past orlando stadium last year and wasn't even aware Bafana was playing. Was also not even broadcast on TV and almost no marketing beforehand.
