The Bafana Bafana Thread

Why is this such a big deal..4 kids run on the field and they stop the game...U don't see this in rugby?
 
Doubt we’ll be seeing bafana in PE again any time soon.
 
Why not? One of the few times they've played to a full stadium in a long while. And their best performance too. Perhaps the crowd helped.
Because of the crowd. Broos laid into the stadium during the post match press conference for almost costing them the match. He claimed he doesn't have much influence over venue choices, which I reckon is bollocks, but PE definitely won't be his first choice.

It also wasn't a full stadium.

Was the top tier open a d tickets sold for it? I heard 36 000 or so tickets sold, that's close to a full house for the lower bowl if memory serves me.

The crowd was a mess. Do you know if the stadium hired less security than usual?

The top tier was open, or at least opened at some stage, but largely unoccupied.

There was plenty of security, including SAPS and Metro, but for some reason they weren't in the stadium until after the damage had been done.
