The Bafana Bafana Thread

Worst Bafana performance I have ever seen. They forgot they came to play football not watch Brazil play
 
This is how bafana bafana are... everyone expects the Boks to perform and win the world cup or beat NZ and Australia, when they lose the world ends people are furious, the captains come out and apologies.

When we watch our cricket team lose the number 1 test team there's huge outcry, players are dropped, coaches are fired and we demand they win - now we gotten used to the expectation they are chokers...

but when Bafana Bafana players, the ANC are in the box office seats, the IFP are in their box office seats, MP's hell even Zuma rock up to watch and cheer them on. What happens? We lost 5-0 and the commentators say hey Bafana did well they frustrated Brazil for 40 mintues! They get congratulated and Zuma hands them medals...

The team is quite representitive. As why they are so bad, it's mainly a development issue, Brazil is miles ahead of us.

Look at the schools that the Proteas and Springboks went to abd compare that to Bafana. For me that is one of the big problems.

Did you watch the match? 22 year old Ronwen Williams made his debut. It shows why SAFA is failing though. Until last night, he had never played an international, not even at youth level.

Not sure why he would get booed. Did that crowd see the goals? Saw the last 3. Nothing he could do. Defending was kark.
 
No at all surprised....given that this is Bafana Bafana it could have been worse.

To all the Bafana fans I say, time to lose the Bafana shirt and get a Springbok one. Get behind a National team who give their all and actually try to win games.

You have to be kidding me.
These national soccer players have large amounts of money thrown at them.
It doesn't make a difference how educated you are, you're playing soccer ffs.

It's not education, it's about training. In SA the best schools train the best players. That is why it is relevant.
