My dad has an OLD Nissan 2.0 Hardbody - we lovingly refer to it as White Lightning. That thing has taken a hammering unlike anything that I have ever seen in my life. During his time as building contractor the 1 tonner was sometimes loaded with more than 1.5 ton of cement bags, etc. It is still not dead yet.
