It's very good - also freezes well so you can toast on demand

Between camping and a CT trip, surprised to see I've only picked up 4kg, and I'm sure most of that will even drop quickly.

I have to say, I felt so crap when off the diet though. Oh well, back in full swing.

Question for those who hit their goal and maintain: do you indulge everynow and then? Ie some pizza or a nice bit of hot bread and butter? If you do, how do you control? Whats your benchmark?

occasionally have pizza, however I've also discovered that wheat based products seem to have been the cause of chronic heartburn that I used to suffer so if I want carbs then I rather default to more "natural" carbs like french fries, but I limit myself to 1 helping a week at most, often it's more like once a fortnight, I just don't have a real desire for things like that anymore

NEVER, for 2 reasons: I have carb addiction and all it can take with me is 1 taste and I will fall into addiction again and be unable to stop. 2) Sugar and carbs really don't agree with me and I feel terrible after eating too many.

How much do they charge for that bread?

Truth be told, my folks had bought a loaf when we were together at the beach house last weekend so I am not sure of the price.

I don't maintain ketosis these days generally, so I indulge every now and then with a slice of pizza, some lays and dip, or maybe a bit of rice or potatoes served with a meal. Checkers had a good special on chips last week and I think I've picked up a kilo! My plan is quite simply to cease the treats completely when the scale says so.

I "cheat" every 2 weeks or so with a pizza or burger or a slice of toast with breakfast. I usually regret it immediately, but I think it keeps me sane. It usually just reconfirms why I now follow this lifestyle

The last time I had slap chips, my stomach tried to convince me I was dying :D

Turns out going from eating almost no carbs to eating a huge amount of them in one sitting is really bad for your digestion, who would've thought? I still miss potato gnocchi though, *sighs*

go to dischem, they have a banting bread. and it tastes awesome!

I did see some (once) in Dis-Chem, Rosebank Mall (Johannesburg) for R48.00 per small loaf.

It was the Banting bread made by Fresh Earth Food Store in Emmerentia (also Johannesburg), who were at that stage selling the loaf for R40.00

Yeah my digestion goes to hell when I do this too.

Starting to ease back into diet soda. Does anyone experience any side effects with them?

I have also been sneaking Monster Absolutely Zero in the morning as I LOVE the taste...
